“It’s impossible to win the race unless you venture to run. It is impossible to win the Victory unless you dare to battle”
Our continuous goal is to be the hardest working high school track team in the county. This goal has led us to unprecedented ELEVEN TEAM Championships in the last thirteen years. We want to produce the best results possible, both as a team and individually at all of our meets this season, particularly at WCSSAA. Our County Championships are a team-scored competition, and because of this we need full participation by ALL of our athletes. This year our goal is to regain the WCSSAA titles. To accomplish this, we need to have athletes in as many events as possible. Remember: To help our TEAM WIN, “YOU HAVE TO COMPETE” What we need to succeed:
Positive Competitive Attitudes. Listen to your coaches and participate in the events that the team needs you to. Set an example for the team. Senior Athletes- it is time to lead by example.
Commitment and Dedication. Your practice attendance will determine the level of success that you and the team will be able to achieve. Your attendance will be monitored. You will have to complete a minimum of 20 practices/ meets to be entered in WCSSAA.
Minimum of 2 events plus a Relay. We need you to remember that you are competing for a team as well as an individual. We need to be able to call on you to compete in an event that will help the team to accomplish our goal
Athletic Improvement. You will measure this by the number of Personal Best (P.B.) that you achieve.
Clothing Orders Optional clothing orders can be purchased on School-Day when available.
